Remnants of our Civilisation

Almost 50 years since its invention, the plastic water bottle has already had a devastating impact on the environment. With over one million sold per minute, an average 450 years for its total disintegration and requiring two thousand times more energy to produce than its contents, the plastic bottle now serves as a dark monument to the excesses of our civilization.

… 500 years later in a random excavation in what used to be the Mediterranean Sea, archaeologists of the future unearth more clear plastic vessels…  are these the Remnants of our Civilisation?
