Synthetic Dystopia imagines a bleak future where humanity has used up all natural resources and all that is left is our synthetic waste.

In a world obsessed with hyper-consumption and single use plastics, Synthetic Dystopia questions both the role of the fashion industry in the global environmental crisis and our own perception/ approach on waste.

…It was so sad to witness all the rubbish in the location of this shoot, a habitat for all kinds of birds and marine life, so I decided to utilise found discarded objects as garments in order to create a series of fashion editorial inspired images, that challenge us to buy less, recycle, upscale or reuse...
