Between The Margins

Between the Margins 2002, is an ongoing project by photographer Dimitris Theocharis, which focuses on gender orientation stereotypes. For the first time extracts from the 3rd instalment of this series (created in 2017), are published here, uncensored.

Through this thought evoking sculptural study of the male form, the artist examines the connection between masculinity and the phallus, strength and fragility, rigidness and fluidity. This play of juxtaposed notions questions our perception of maleness.
