Equus

The artistic nude has always been present in the history of art, nowadays we appreciate digital photography, and in this new media we still seeking the transcendence of the beauty that the Greeks sought in their bronze statues. In the photographs taken by Psareva Yelena with the model Raphael Say dream, reality and fairy tales mix while the light changes and as the male model shifts through his roles as a dreamer, a sculptor and the one of a statue. There is a profusion of contrasts, not only in the colors but in the sensations transmitted between nature and man, delicacy of the body and brutal, Dionysian and Apollonian. The sensibility and drama are neatly capture by the photographer´s eye, and shows us the male body in its plasticity and sensuality.
